Innovapptive Featured in Latest Gartner Warehousing and Fulfillment Guide

HOUSTON, TX - Innovapptive, a mobile-first digital transformation provider, has received prominent mention in Gartner’s new 2020 Warehousing and Vendor Fulfillment Guide, released Jan. 17. The company is among 10 firms listed as providing Data Collection and Mobile Application Development Platforms, which the guide notes are a key sector in smart warehousing and warehouse automation. This marks the third time Innovapptive has received notice in a Gartner publication in less than a year.

“We’re getting noticed in all the right places,” said Sundeep Ravande, Innovapptive’s co-founder and CEO. “Gartner is one of the world’s most prestigious market research organizations. This is a testament to all the incredible hard work everyone at Innovapptive has been doing to become a global leader in mobile-first inventory and asset management solutions. We’ll continue to innovate and stay on the cutting edge as part of our mission to improve lives through our Connected Workforce PlatformTM.”

Innovapptive’s SAP-certified mInventory solution transforms warehouse operations. Users gain greater visibility into their warehouse operations with high-value, real-time data collected and verified directly by workers on the floor equipped with native mobile devices. Supervisors, managers and executives have immediate access to this data via desktop dashboards, enabling them to make better, more informed decisions based on fact.

mInventory customers have experienced:
  • 85 percent reduction in shipping/receiving times.
  • 37 percent increase in planning efficiency.
  • 30 percent improvement in inventory accuracy.
  • 30 percent jump in worker productivity.
  • 10 percent drop in inventory carrying costs.

One of mInventory’s greatest success stories to date has been with UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund). The organization recently deployed (mInventory) to set up pop-up warehouses. UNICEF handles humanitarian aid distribution during earthquakes, hurricanes or refugee crises. These crises often occur in remote locations with little to no infrastructure.

mInventory enabled UNICEF to cut time-consuming paper documentation of receiving and shipping information. It also allowed fast-track delivery of emergency supplies. Using digital handheld devices capable of working offline, UNICEF set up a pop-up warehouse during a Bangladeshi refugee crisis. The warehouse quickly processed supplies and sent them to their destination with little wasted time, labor or expenditure.
