Hess Speaks on Successes with Innovapptive’s mInventory for Operations in Houma, LA and Bakken, ND

Hess Corporation is a major leading global independent energy company with focus on exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, shale oil and gas, and deep-water development and production in the United States, offshore Guyana, Malaysia, and the Gulf of Mexico. They are creating a lean manufacturing culture and have been working with Innovapptive for over two years to implement its SAP® Certified mInventory solution and improve overall operational efficiency and productivity in two of their largest warehouses.

Innovapptive Inc., a leading provider of the next generation Connected Workforce Platform, was selected by Hess to implement the mInventory – Mobile Inventory Management solution to improve productivity, accuracy, and create a better user experience.

Prior to partnering with Innovapptive, Hess relied heavily on manual entry of material information for the main inputs of the Materials Management Process which created inaccuracies, user frustrations, and delays in record movement. Adding to this, with a reduction in workforce, Hess’s technicians were experiencing high user burnout from less availability of resources while more work was required. This rise in demands created lack of visibility and excess time spent focused on and fighting unnecessary issues.

Hess' selection of Innovapptive as the solution provider was based around 5 key factors:

• Innovapptive offered relevant industry knowledge and experiences specific to Oil & Gas
• Key team members and stakeholders based were based in Houston
• The mInventory solution offered the best look as well as less need for and/or easier training; all are key for better user adoption
• Availability of Innovapptive's Remote Logistics Management (RLM) module
• mInventory’s Super User configuration capabilities allowed Hess Central to manage minor changes (add fields to a screen, etc)
